India emerges as a leading service provider in logistic sector as per suggestion of World Bank

As per the opinion of World Bank, India and others have developed their own trade logistics performance to a great extent by making continuous reforms in compare to Global trade logistics
In accordance with a latest survey conducted by World Bank, India ranked 46th with a Logistics Performance Indicators (LPI) score of 3.08. Singapore was the topper with a score of 4.12 among the 155 economies.
Countries like India, Chile, China, Morocco, South Africa, Turkey, and the US all surpassed their earlier performance as per the wide-ranging world survey of international freight forwarders and express carriers.
In accordance with the LPI report, high income economies control the top logistics rankings, whereas the economies with the worst performance belong to the least developed countries as well as landlocked, small islands, or post-conflict states.
In the lower middle income group, India, Morocco and the Philippines contain above average performance developments.
Infrastructure plays a key role in driving progress in top performers, followed by upgrading in logistics services, and customs and border management.
All top performers provide strong collaboration connecting the public and private sectors, and a broad approach in the growth of services, infrastructure and well-organized logistics.
In order to provide prolong developments in its logistical capabilities, focus should be given on collaboration involving the public and private sectors and consideration for the impact of all agencies on the supply chain.
